Minivan Kitchen

Wow! What an AMAZING product! I sold my RV last year because we were unable to use it as much as we had hoped. When we did have it, we realized the best parts about it were having a place to prepare food on the road and not rely on junk/fast food and having a place to wash our hands and use the restroom without going into a public bathroom. I also needed a new car and my goal was to incorporate all of the features that I loved with the RV into my new car. After a lot of research, I purchased a Kia Carnival with the express purpose of taking out two of the middle seats and installing a kitchen pod. There were a few places online that sold something similar to what I was looking for but Mininest offered basically EXACTLY what I needed. It had a sink area, a place to prepare cold or a hot meal (camp stove included!), a small cabinet for the basic pantry items, snacks, utenisils, etc and a desk extension for eating at or using as a work station. I'm also a Realtor, so I work on the road and often need a place to park for an hour to get work done in between clients.I was able to install my Mininest kitchen pod, level it out and fill up the water reservoir in less than 5 minutes! The unit is well made, fully functional, slim, modern, sturdy and everything that I hoped it would be. When I'm not working with clients, I'm on the road taking my child from activity to activity and often need to have a snack or meal in the car. The Mininest not only allows me to have snacks at the ready but I can work on my computer with the convenient table/desk attachment. I cannot express how wonderful and well made this product is! MiniNests bed and kitchen unit custom made for a toyota sienna fits nicely and allows for a place to sit using the third row seats when the bed is folded. There's plenty of room for storage behind the third row seats (second row seats were removed). It turns out a jackery generator and a dometic refrigerator fit nicely under the legs of the bed when it�s folded out so it leaves room to stand and for a german shepherd overnight. It�s all a little tight but that was expected when trading room for 35 mpg. The sink works with the top up or down and the water tank and gray water tank are easy to access behind the left side door. With the pop top you can stand easily to cook and the pop top provides storage to get stuff out of the way when the top is up. The only issue I�ve had is unrelated to the Mini Nest set up. I�m using an induction cooktop instead of the gas stove that came with the kitchen. If the minivan and therefore the table extension for the kitchen unit isn't close to level, the pot starts to slide off the glass top of the burner so wedges are needed to make sure the cooktop is level before use.

I use a Honda Odyssey as my camper van. I was looking for a kitchen cabinet that had storage, a sink and stove as well as water storage. I am not handy, so when I saw the video on YouTube about their kitchen cabinet I was intrigued. David worked me to make sure it would fit perfectly with my van layout. When it arrived in perfect condition, I quickly placed it in my van. I was very pleased with the quality build and how well it fit in the van without taking up too much of the limited space. It has much more storage space than I anticipated! I now have an L-shaped countertop when the table is attached which gives me a lot of prep space when cooking, doing dishes or however you want to use the space. I want to thank David and his team for producing such a great kitchen set-up for a small camper van! I could not be happier with my purchase!

Wow, so happy with my MiniNests kitchen and bed setup. Before placing an order, I sent a number of questions to David - all were fully answered. I really wanted a kitchen setup in the van, versus in the back/trunk area (which seems to be the most typical offering from other providers for minivans). I also only needed a solo bed - which was an option. I placed my order and received it in about 3 weeks - shipping quickly via UPS. Very well packaged and nothing to assemble - just place the kitchen and bed in my minivan and secure via the provided attachment(s) - took me a bit over an hour the first time -- probably can do it now in less than 30 minutes. Quality is great and I'm ready to make my great roadtrip.

We have had our fold out bed and kitchen cabinet for a few months now and are so happy with them both. The build is top quality and it has saved us thousands at the mountain slopes. David communicated great through the process of ordering and shipping. We are a family of four and without the kitchen cabinet in we are able to turn our mini van into a makeshift home that is comfortable and cozy. Thank you David�
